Greetings from the East
Dear Brethren and Ladies,
The month of April is gone and we are heading into scholarship night.
I am excited about the recipients receiving scholarships. Most of them will be attending dinner. Congratulations to Rana Tupua on receiving her scholarship.
I’ve enjoyed the last two months of traveling with the brothers. We were presented with two traveling gavels. They are on display in the dining room.
Our current project is installing handrails on each podium in the lodge room. Thanks to Brothers Jared and Steven for their help in replacing the toilets in the woman’s restroom and rebuilding the toilet in the men’s restroom. It was kind of a crappy job but the toilets look good and are working well.
We have a lot to discuss at the meeting, including legislation, donations and upcoming projects.
We are working on the torch light program every Saturday at 10 am.
Thank you to our delegates (Brothers Jared, Steven, and Quintin) that will be representing our lodge at the Grand Lodge Communications.
We have a wonderful meal planned for Cinco De Mayo. Please join us for dinner and presentation of scholarships.
Fraternally,
Hunt Ramsey,
Worshipful Master

Greetings From the West
Dear Brothers,
This is a nice break from the rain. I hope you all have enough time to get outside and enjoy the Sun.
While we have a few candidates going through the degrees, we need to work on the outdoor area. We hope to have a couple of outdoor degrees there and of course, we will have a BBQ with them. Our favorite cook, WM Hunt Ramsey, will be doing the cooking. If you haven’t been to the lodge for a while, you need to come out and just check it out. We have accomplished a lot and it is coming together in a spectacular manner. We still have work to do on the floor and the office needs painting. We can always use more help. Come out and join the Brothers working and drinking coffee. You can always be the coffee maker. Thanks to WM Hunt, JW Hernandez, Treasurer Steven Bagin, Secretary Jared Bagin, and so many others. Please, forgive me for leaving anyone out.
We hope to visit more lodges and have them visit us. It is always good to visit with other members. We learn a lot from them all. It is nice to see what other lodges have finished their lodge rooms.
Fraternally,
Dick Tooley, PM

From the South
I hope you had a lovely Easter. Are you thinking about a weekend trip and enjoying the spring weather? We have had a busy April. A few brothers, nine to be exact, went to Newport for their stated meeting and we brought home the traveling Gavel
We had a great time and enjoyed spending time together, it’s a learning experience for me. I have learned a lot and enjoyed my time with my Brothers; lots of fun, and also traveled to some other Lodges for there stated meeting.
We had a great ham dinner for Easter dinner and good meeting, we also had a visit from our District Deputy.
Now that spring is here we have a lot of things happening in the lodge. For our May 5th dinner and meeting we will celebrate Cinco De Mayo with Tamales, spanish rice and variety of beans for dinner at 6:30pm and stated meeting at 7:30pm. Come join us, we miss you.

Greetings From the Secretary
Brethren,
I hope this message finds you well and in high spirits. We have had a good month of travel and fraternity with our brothers. From Bandon, to Newport, some of us going from Cottage Grove to Portland. Four to nine Brothers sojourning, representing Florence #107 and I’m so happy to be here and be a part of it here, now, with you brothers.
Thank you to Bandon Lodge #130 & Newport Lodge #85, for hosting Florence Lodge #107.
Florence was presented with two traveling gavels in the month of April adding to our collection making three total that Florence #107 holds. From Bandon Lodge #130 who presented WM Ramsey with the Grants Pass Lodge #84 traveling gavel, seven men from Florence were in attendance, six of whom were officers.
Next, Newport Lodge #85 presented WM Ramsey the Tillamook Lodge #57 traveling gavel. Nine men from Florence were in attendance, The nine were all line officers.
The work steadily moves forward with ritual and degree practices. We have a lot of outdoor work to do now that the rain is starting to subside.
As always I wish you all peace and happiness.
Fraternally,
Jared Baggin,

Because I am a Freemason…..
…I believe that freedom of religion is an inaienable human right and tolerance is an indiapensable trait of human character: theerefore, I will stand in my Lodge with Brothers of all faiths, and respect their beliefs as they respect mine, and I will demonstrate the spririt of Brotherhood in all aspects of my life.
…I know that education and the national use of the mind are the keys to facing the problems of humanity, therefore, I will bring my questions and my ideas to my Lodge, and strive to advance the groth of my mind alongside my Brothers.
…I know that the rich tradition of freemasonry and its framework of Ritual are important platforms for growth and learning; therefore, I vow to stand upon these platforms to improve myself as a human being, and I vow to help in the mission of the Craft to provide tools, atmosphere, challenges and motivation to help each Brother do the same.
…I know that charity is the distinguishing human virtue, and that personal community service is the best demonstration oof one’s ccommitment to humanity. I ackowledge that words without deeds are meaningless, andI vow to work with my Lodge to provide service to the community, and to promote charity, friendship, moraloty, harmony, integrity, fidelity, and love.
…I know that my oflibation to community extends beyon my local sphere and is partly fulfilled in my patriotism, love of my county, obedience to its laws and celebration of the freedoms and opportunities it symbolizes.
… I know that leadership is best demonstrated by commitment to serving others, I will therefore participate in, and help work at improving individual leadership skills, and serve the Brothers of my Lodge to the best of my ability.
…I know that friendship, fidelity, and family are the foundations of a well-lived life; I therefore vow to be a faithful friend to my Brothers, as I expect my Lodge to respect my personal obligations, and treat my famil as though my family were their own.
…I know the lesson of Freemasonry – The value of personal integrity and the sanctity of one’s word – is a lesson for all people in all times; I therefore vow to be a man of my word.
…I know that Masonry’s power is best exercised when its Light is shared with the world at large. I therefore vow to bring the best of myself to my Lodge, in order that my growth might be fostered and nurtured, and to present myself to the world as a working Freemason, on the path to building a more perfect temple.
Because I am a Freemason,
these values and aspirations are guidposts for my progress through life.
